This silk embroidered dress features traditional Lucknowi hand-embroidery and is made in OEKO-Tex Certified silk crepe de chine in the Serpent Yellow print.
These beautiful dresses are handmade in India and feature delicate traditional Lucknowi hand-embroidery known as 'Chikkan' or 'shadow work'. The embroidery is done on the reverse side of the fabric to create 'shadows', and can take up to four weeks to complete.
Many people around the world travel to Lucknow to have their garments embroidered as this delicate skill requires finesse and is particular to the region.
