Cotton face mask with hand-embroidered floral cotton detail.
This face mask has been hand-embroidered with the traditional Matyo motifs of Hungarian folk art. Matyo embroidery has been included on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.
We have been commissioning blouses with this particular Hungarian embroiderer since 2012 and we are delighted that she was able to make these masks for us.
