Our Frangipani pink dress is made of organic cotton traditionally handwoven and hand-loomed in one of the last remaining traditional mills in Tamil Nadu, South India.
Featuring a V-neckline, slightly ballooned three-quarter-length sleeves and blue hand-embroidered floral motifs throughout.
Our organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment with systems in place to replenish and sustain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilisers, and build biologically diverse agriculture. Cotton crops aren't treated with pesticides, insecticides, herbicides. Our organic cotton is GMO free.
Conventionally grown cotton uses more insecticides than any other crop in the world. These Pesticides and insecticides used in cotton production contaminate the soil we use to grow crops, the air we breathe and the water we drink. The deaths of animals exposed to these contaminants is counted in the millions every year. The damage caused to us and the environment by growing non-organic cotton is enormous and is a real threat to us and our planet!
