This is a collectible 100% handloomed multicoloured hand-dyed silk Ikat coat from Uzbekistan. The coat features intricately patterned motifs hand-embroidered in cotton thread.
Uzbek fabric has been highly prized all over Central Asia since the 19th century and across many Central Asian towns, these brilliantly colored coats have historically been considered a symbol of wealth and status.
A true work of art that could equally belong in a frame in your home, dare to wear your silk coat over simple neutrals for a chic evening look.
